Jobs

Harris County merges one of the country’s largest job market with one of the largest veteran population.

Faith Community

The faith community has been a tremendous resource for Harris County, even though we do not endorse any religion.

Sometimes a simple ride is the difference between receiving help or not.

*In order to better improve services to veterans, Harris County Precinct One veteran's registration/survey link is an additional way to complement our one on one outreach in the field despite the pandemic. This is for Precinct One to stay in contact during limited physical contact times in the County, and continue to refine programs and resources available to Veterans. Additionally, this registration/survey allows us to better understand the needs of our Veterans in our Community by gathering general information such as: household size and annual income, employment status, homeowner or renter, disabilities, etc. Based on the responses, we will develop initiatives and outreach according to our veteran Community's specific needs.
