Without a Medical POA, Texas state law determines who is allowed to make medical decisions for a Veteran.

To help Veterans take this important step, the Harris County Veterans Services Department (VSD) is hosting a Medical Power of Attorney Workshop.

This is a genuine case that the Harris County VSD handled; however, the veteran’s name is obscured for privacy reasons.
