Veterans Day Parade 2025

On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, downtown Houston resonated with gratitude and remembrance as the City of Houston hosted its annual Veterans Day commemoration and parade. This year’s event once again brought together veterans, active-duty service members, their families, community organizations, and city officials under the banner of honoring sacrifice and service.

This annual event serves multiple purposes:

• It gives public visibility to those who served and honors their sacrifices.

• It provides a communal moment for the city to come together — for veterans and civilians alike.

• It strengthens public appreciation and awareness of a veteran’s role beyond the military: as neighbors, civic contributors, and mentors.
